Dream Makers Social Trust (DMST) is a non profitable, non communal, non governmental organization serving the needs of rural population in Krishnagiri district since inception. We wish that our rural women, youth and farmers should take part in administration and decision making process from grass root level. Our women, youth and farmers are being groomed under “Group Consciousness” to get every success in their life. Our trust has a set of objectives and goals towards rural development and women empowerment.

DMST Organisation is involved and conducted the following Programmes
SHG Women Training Programme
A total of 24 SHGs are formed by DMST in 2 Blocks of Krishnagiri district. The total members in
our SHGs are 364 women. To upkeep the knowledge, effective SHG operation and to build
capacity of SHG leaders and members we conducted various trainings, camps to them. In this
meetings they were given awareness on group formation, conducting regular meetings, savings
& thrift, internal lending, maintenance of various records, legal aspects, account keeping,
governments schemes, health issues, education and other social challenges.

Siddha Health Awareness programme:
one of the earliest traditional medicine systems in the world which treats not only the body but also the mind and the soul. The word Siddha has its origin in the Tamil word Siddhi which means "an object to be attained" or "perfection" or "heavenly bliss". The Siddha system of medicine sees the individual as a microcosm of the universe, which is made up of the five natural elements: earth, fire, air, water and space; and three humours: vatham (movement), pitham (digestion or metabolism) and kapham. Siddha medicines cures all the prolonged diseases. So it is the main alternative for allopathic medicines. This is our mother land medicine system. But due to the domination of allopathic medicines people forgot the siddha medicines.

Herbal Plantation in Schools Programme:
We gave preference to Bio diversity conservation for herbal and medicinal plants. Bio diversity conservation is very important for retaining world resources in forests and in land. Herbal medicines are the best alternative medicines sources for diabetic, kidney, lever, orthridis and other long term diseases. So for retaining these natural rtepurces naturally we motivated the Tribal farmers on cultivation and utilization of herbal plants. Under this programme we conducted motivational training programme to 455 students tudying in 12 High schools about the importance of Herbal and Medicinal plants bio diversity

Farmers Training Programme
Training programmes on agriculture and allied activities were conducted to small and marginal in 5 villages of Denkanikkottai Block, Krishnagiri district. During the programmes, the resource person highlighted the need to adopt improved crop technologies, the potential for off-season crop production, improving the farmers’ income, and “turning the areas into vegetable production hubs with respect to increasing demand of the horticultural crops in the region.” More over he explained about the methods and advantages of livestock rearing.

Tailoring Programme
Although the field of education has made progress in the past ten years, this less regulated area of the education sector - vocational training— seems to have lost its importance. This has led to the widening gap between the supply and demand for skilled manpower across various industries. This shortage of skills has translated directly into unemployment among an increasing number of women, youth etc.

Environment Awareness Programme
Nowadays environment is very important subject which is discussed in all levels of society and community. Clean and green environment gives a good visibleness, peace to minds, fresh air to breath, unpolluted land and water. So, it is very important to preserve and protect our environment for better and healthy lives of human beings. Protection and conservation of environment and environment factors are the only remedies for achieving clean and green environment. Plastic eradication is a way to protect environment.
